One of the founding fathers of bebop, alto saxophonist Charlie Parker (1920-1955) was the most influential modern jazz artist ever and one of the few indisputable geniuses of his time. This set presents some of his best studio recordings, including masterpieces made for the Dial, Savoy and Verve labels.
