Pressed at Precision Record Pressing in Canada
Legendary American pianist, composer and bandleader Duke Ellington recorded this album for the Bethlehem label in 1956. AllMusic rated the album 21/2 stars, and stated “… the music is quite enjoyable and it is interesting to hear Duke Ellington playing such tunes as “Laura,” “My Funny Valentine,” and “Indian Summer.”
The remastered 96kHz/24-bit audio files used for this pressing were from a 2014 remastering. A new Direct Metal Mastering cut in 2022 utilizing those files produced the pressing stampers.
