Notes

This 1998 session was recorded in New Orleans and features then 92-year-old Lionel Ferbos, who in 2011 and at the age of 100 was still playing his trumpet every week at the Palm Court Jazz Cafe. He’s accompanied here by clarinetist Dennis Browne, who passed away after this session was recorded. Both Ferbos and Browne perform vocals on a few songs, and the CD includes a new composition written by Browne, Place Of My Dreams.
