At A Studio in the Woods in October 2012, Sarah Quintana composed The Delta Demitasse, a musical series using water, guitar, and found instruments such as bathtubs, drainpipes, coffee cups, and bowls to explore the greater story of water in our region and to express her concern for the fragility of the Mississippi River Delta.The Delta Demitasse is one part composed and two parts improvised, captured on film by Kat Sotelo, whose artistic sensibilities compliment Sarah’s musical modesty and poetic style.
