Veteran New Orleans keyboard player Willie Tee led this incredible band of funkateers who wove jazz and street rhythms into their Meters-styled funk. These 1970s recordings are legendary in acid jazz circles, and now the abundance of rare riffs and break beats within the songs have caught the attention of hip hop fans as well. This release is packed with previously unissued material, and will appeal to fans of soul, funk, jazz or hip hop.
